Soccer 2000

The variety of football cleats was minimal and they lacked everything in stock. The person assisting me did not seem interested and did not provide any other options when my size was not available in Nikes. He genuinely seemed in a hurry to get out of the store. I was keen on visiting this store since it has a nice faux grass section where I could have tried the cleats on but was highly disappointed by the service and lack of stock in the shop.

Well this is the place you go if you're serious about any and everything soccer. Basically a mom and pop shop but they do things well. Service here is always great and you will be taken care of. Of course its gonna be a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Obviously you shouldn't be shopping here for your child's first soccer experience but it's a marvel of a shop when you're in the market for everything necessary to take that next step in your soccer endeavors. Thumbs way up to the staff and gear selection. One stop soccer shop, period!

UPDATE: Brian called me and we had a good conversation. He explained some of the difficulties they were having and I was reassured Soccer 2000 does care about our business and customer service. All in all I feel better about the interaction and about Soccer 2000. I have increased my original 1 star to 3 in light of our communications. Complete incompetence. For 2 years in a row Roadrunners Soccer has used Soccer 2000 for it's uniform purchases. For 2 years in a row now Soccer 2000 has completely mishandled our orders. Not only can they not get the product our product to us on time but they misplaced our order in their system, and misplaced our order in their store. Once we received our "order" it was incomplete. Jersey's were missing and socks were on backorder. I called on Sunday and spoke with Carlos and he informed me Brian (who is apparently in charge of group orders) would call me back on Monday. It's now Thursday and no call. I just called and Connie who said she was in charge of customer service but she gave me an attitude. She kept asking me what we ordered and received. If anyone should know it should be them. Overall not happy with how the store is run and they obviously know little or nothing about customer service. I will not be shopping here again.

Soccer 2000 is an awesome locally owned football/soccer store in Downers Grove!! Just outside of Metro Chicago, they have awesome assortments of kits and equipment! Their service is awesome just like Soccer4All in Houston!! They have super quick turn around times for online orders! I live in Hawai'i and I got my order within a week!! I highly recommend all football fans shop here!!
